Operações de midiatização: das máscaras da convergência às críticas ao tecnodeterminismo

As dinâmicas entre convergência/divergência seriam problema-

tizadas pelos efeitos da interpenetração. Ao manter sentidos em

dinâmicas de desequilíbrio, a circulação torna mais distantes

possibilidades de uma noção unificadora da produção de senti-

dos. A convergência permanece apenas como uma aposta.

ABSTRACT

: Reflects on the concept of convergence in accor-

dance with presuppositions that, in addition to the ‘connection-

ism’ between production and reception, there are divergences

resulting from the dynamics of circulation, in non-linear and

asymmetric terms. Attention is drawn to epistemological as-

sumptions that examine the ‘access revolution’ and the pro-

duction of meanings as distinct problematics. Notwithstanding

the intensity of ‘contact regimes’ provided by connectionism,

the distance between production and reception would become

more complex and the non-linear character of interchangeabil-

ity would become more pronounced. It examines the work of a

new ‘interactional architecture’ from the notion of interpenetra-

tion, showing that production and reception would affect one

another, would become generators of complexities and differ-

ences. The dynamics between convergence / divergence would

be problematized by the effects of interpenetration. By keeping

senses in unbalanced dynamics, circulation makes more distant

possibilities of a unifying notion of the production of meanings.

Convergence remains just a bet.
